Death Star Cake

Death. Star. Cake! Remember the pug cake from last year? This same customer wanted me to go big or go home with their cake this year and they were thrilled with the result! This thing is huge! It’s definitely a two man job to tote this around! This gravity defying cake is funfetti, with swiss meringue buttercream and nutella filling, all wrapped up in more swiss meringue buttercream and topped with fondant details. The bottom cake is more of the same awesomeness, but has it’s sweeter cousin, american buttercream, to help showcase the richer color. And those little fondant x winged fighters, greydeaths, and tie fighters really elevated the cake, and I’m so happy with the end result!
